Meet us at the DSTB Conference on Thursday, June 14, 2018, and see what Trifork QI is currently working on.
On June 14, 2018, DSTB is once again hosting its annual testing conference at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen. Once again this year, we will have a booth at the conference, where you will have the opportunity to stop by for a professional discussion about testing and quality assurance.
This year, our focus is on early testing and how to prevent defects rather than simply becoming better at finding them. We have invited a panel of experts to join us at the conference, where they will address this topic in their presentation, It Is Never Too Early to Test. After the session, you will have the opportunity to continue the discussion with the experts at our booth.
New Launches at Our Booth
As tradition dictates, Trifork QI will take the opportunity to launch some brand-new initiatives at the conference. If you are unable to attend, you can find more information on our website the following day.
It Is Never Too Early to Test
Early Testing, Early Feedback, Shift Left…
A beloved concept goes by many names. And the most beloved ones have even more. Early validation and feedback is a particularly compelling one.
Across the industry, there is widespread discussion about eliminating the heavy testing burden that typically accumulates as we approach the finish line—often growing larger and more complex the closer we get.
We need to move away from that!
On top of that, most organizations are rooted in an agile transformation—focused on smaller but more frequent releases—which naturally limits how much testing can be squeezed into the final days of a sprint or saved as the “cherry on top” at the end of a release.
There is no turning back. Testing needs to move further up the bus.
Automation has often been presented as the ultimate solution, but it has far from been a complete remedy.
So what do we do?
We need to change our mindset and move away from striving only to be good at finding defects—and instead become good at preventing them. It is never too early to test.
In addition to our CTO, Roland Møller, we have invited three different experts to join us on stage. Together, we will explore a range of practical perspectives on how testing can and should be integrated from the very beginning—transforming it into proactive behavior rather than reactive risk mitigation.
We will address questions such as:
- How early can you test?
- Can you test an idea?
- A vision? A strategy?
- A design? And how would you do that?
- How does being proactive impact me and my role as a tester?
- Can technology help us?
And how do we bring the customer along? How do we ensure we don’t lose sight of them along the way?
