Testing in Agile Projects is a practical course that provides an insight into what agile testing is, which methods to use, and knowledge about a tester’s role, skills, and mindset in an agile setup.
Learning objectives
You will gain foundational knowledge of testing and quality assurance in agile development processes and a basic understanding of agile methods. By the end of the course, you will have achieved the following:
- Knowledge of the foundation upon which agile projects are built.
- An introduction to the Whole Team Approach
- Familiarity with the most used frameworks in agile system development
- Developed and conducted reviews of agile requirements (User Stories), including acceptance criteria.
- Tried out the use of relative estimation with a focus on testing.
- Insight into what agile testing is and which methods can be used.
- Knowledge of a tester’s role and mindset in an agile setup
- An introduction to Test Automation and Continuous Integration (CI)

Course format
The course is based on active participant involvement, providing ample opportunity for broad experience sharing through both plenary discussions and practical exercises. There will be pair, group, and joint activities, with a strong focus on applying methods and exchanging experiences between the participants and the instructor.
