Target audience

Course format

This course is a basic introduction to test automation. It lasts for 1 day, during which lots of fundamental knowledge will be presented, supplemented with individual and group exercises. In the technical section, you will have an opportunity to test your skills in some of the technical portions of test automation through hands-on exercises (no prior technical knowledge expected).

Christian Schmidt Petersen

Meet Christian Schmidt Petersen, Trifork QI’s Trainer. Christian holds a degree in IT Engineering and has experience in both front-end and back-end development. He specializes in test automation and data-driven testing and has worked extensively with technical testing and test management across a number of large-scale software projects. Christian is ISTQB certified and has solid experience leading technical testing teams. As an instructor, he is dedicated to making technical topics understandable and applicable, with a strong focus on practical insight, diverse learning styles, and a solid professional foundation. His teaching is based on genuine understanding rather than theory alone and equips participants to translate learning into real-world practice.

Jens Riggelsen

Meet Jens – Meet Jens, which is a trained computer scientist and have experience as dynamic Developer who’s also a pro at Test Automation. Jens also holds certifications in software testing – ISTQB Foundation, Agile Extension, Advanced Test Automation Engineer and Selenium, giving him an advantage in bridging the worlds of development and testing. With a background as a lecturer at the Science Museums in Aarhus, Jens has accumulated over 2,000 hours of experience as a teacher and communicator of complex topics.

Lars Andrew Hartvig

Meet Lars Andrew Hartvig, Trifork QI’s Trainer.Lars has many years of experience in test automation, test management, and quality assurance. He specializes in developing test strategies, building automated test systems, and implementing testing processes in complex IT projects. Lars is certified as an ISTQB Advanced Test Manager and Advanced Test Automation Engineer, and has hands-on experience with tools such as Ranorex, WebdriverIO, Docker, and Azure DevOps. He has hosted webinars on test automation and testing process optimization and teaches “Testing with Azure DevOps” at TestHuset, where he shares his extensive knowledge and practical experience.

Thomas Johannesson

Meet Thomas Johannesson, Trifork QI’s Trainer. Thomas is an experienced consultant with extensive practical experience in technical testing and test tools. Thomas brings a unique blend of expertise to the table. As a former developer, Thomas has spent over 20 years delving into areas such as test management tools, test automation, and performance testing. He has not only implemented these practices but has also provided guidance and delivered effective training sessions. His journey encompasses both traditional waterfall projects and the agility that characterizes modern teams.
